Bio

Born 1987, Breda, Netherlands

Lives and works in Brussels, Tangier

Her work is about space and society and how they influence one another; in particular urban development. With a focus on urban informalities; reflecting on the formal and informal, she explores the defining and re-defining of spaces and the fundamental elements around place-making.

Besma is the co-founder and artistic director of Round Edge, an artistic cultural platform in Brussels.
